Brownwood Recreation Center is a City-owned facility operated by East Atlanta Kids Club. Its school-year Kids Club serves grades K–5 with STEAM and positive sports-based enrichment, while Teen Club serves grades 6–12 on a separate schedule.
Families repeatedly describe Brownwood as a neighborhood place for children, gatherings, and varied outdoor play. When youth programs are not using the building, the operator rents a multipurpose room with tables, chairs, foosball, a large Connect 4 game, speakers, and arcade-style games.
