Ukulele virtuoso and songwriter Taimane headlines the final Zoo Music evening of the summer. The Hawai‘i-born, hapa Sāmoan performer draws from classical music, rock, flamenco and traditional influences and takes the Bandshell stage at 7 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m.

The featured Zoo area is the Reptile Building. Families can see its new murals and encounter reptile feedings, training demonstrations and keeper talks. Interactive discovery stations introduce snakes, lizards, turtles, tortoises, alligators and crocodiles, while local blues-rock group Secret 7 Duo supplies additional music near the exhibits.

Bring a picnic for an evening of music, dancing, animal learning and exploration. BioPark Society members must present an active membership card and ID for the discount. City-issued tickets are required; refunds are unavailable unless specifically stated, and exchanges depend on availability.
