Celebrate the installation of The Old Road, a multidimensional mural marking Route 66’s centennial while examining the highway’s effects on Pueblo communities and New Mexico. Artists Warren Montoya, Margarita Paz-Pedro, Akilah Martinez, and Keith Scott trace Pueblo people and places along the Mother Road through time.
Families can meet the artists, learn about the work, participate in art activities, and enjoy light refreshments. Mention “The Old Road Reception” at the East or South check-in desk for free admission.
